Alone Time Co. is a Brooklyn-based brand and online shop founded in early 2017, the same year I moved to New York City. Before that I was living in Boston, working a full time job that didn’t leave much time for art or personal design work. I knew I needed a creative outlet, so before the move I designed a logo, made a t-shirt and some stickers—things I already knew how to produce from years of playing in bands—and Alone Time Co. was born.

Once in NYC, I focused on building my freelance business, while in the background I was making products for ATCO with no expectations or deadlines: a t-shirt every few months or a new enamel pin or a few sticker designs here and there, when I had an idea that I wanted to get out. I designed products, packed orders, and stored inventory all in a tiny one-bedroom Brooklyn apartment with my partner. 

In 2024, I decided to start vending at local in-person events and quickly found myself at bigger markets like Adobe Max, Renegade and Friendship Market, which showed me what small brands could accomplish. Alone Time Co. was once just a hobby, but it was now time for it to grow. In the summer of 2025, I jumped on the chance to join a shared studio space, and grow alongside other ambitious makers. Alone Time Co. is now headquartered at Sick Ass Studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and with that dedicated space, I now have a lot more planned for the brand. Alone Time Co. has always been about prioritizing time to create art or just doing things that bring you peace. It exists as a reminder to dedicate time to recharge every single day. And, also, that it’s very cool to be comfortable taking yourself out to lunch or going to watch a movie you’ve been meaning to see.
